Seeing as it is the year of the volunteer I thought I would contribute by writing about my experience in the voluntary sector. I live in Ireland as the title of the blog suggests where the voluntary sector is very strong. It has especially become more crucial in recent years since the famous "Celtic Tiger" bolted. Some people think that the volutary sector is taking up some of the slack where government services fall short and is allowing them of the hook!!
